Ḥaḑramautic or Ḥaḑramitic was one of the four known languages of the Old South Arabian subgroup, of Semitic. It was used in Wādī Ḥaḑramawt, and also the area round the Ḥaḑramite capital Shabwah, in what is modern Yemen. The Ḥaḑramites also controlled the trade in frankincense through their important trading post of Sumhuram in the Dhofar area of what is now Oman.
