Bayali (Biyali) is an extinct language of Queensland in Australia. It was spoken from the mouth of the Fitzroy River inland
to the Boomer Range. According to Ethnologue, Bayali and Darumbal (with its dialects Kuinmabara, Karunbara, Rakiwara, Wapabara)
are a single language. Dixon (2002) lists them as distinct languages not demonstrably related. Bowern (2011) lists Dharambal
as Maric. |
