Misantla Totonac, also known as Yecuatla Totonac and Southeastern Totonac, is an indigenous language of Mexico which is spoken
by fewer than 500 indigenous Totonacs in central Veracruz. It belongs to the Totonacan family. Misantla Totonac is highly
endangered most speakers are elderly, and the language is no longer in daily use in the communities where it was spoken earlier. |
