Turks and Caicos Creole is an English-based creole spoken in the Turks and Caicos Islands, a British Overseas Territory in
the West Indies southeast of the Bahamas. Turks and Caicos Island Creole is similar to other Caribbean English creoles and
is almost identical to Bahamian Creole. These languages draw on African grammar while using a largely English vocabulary.
The number of speakers of Turks and Caicos Islands Creole is around 10,000. Turks and Caicos Islands Creole does not have
